While I think the star looked great on the night, I’m not a fan of her designs. Some elements were okay, to say the least. Like the floral pants and hi-low dresses, but it’s all been done before.
But the rest was just plain trashy. I expected much more from Rihanna, who, although wacky at times, is a trend setter (for the most part).
Like the Huffington Post reviewed: “Nipple-baring, crotch-flashing mesh outfits and bra tops aren’t exactly what a stylish gal wants to throw on for a casual night out.”
There were some who appreciated Rihanna’s designs. Chrissy Mahlmeister for MTV Style said, “We’re totally on-board with her comfy girly-yet-grunge pieces.”
We’re not totally convinced.
