Nadine Rose Larter: "How to be Good" by Nick Hornby - definitely should be read by everyone. Wow!!! It makes you smile from your gut. And even just reading the intro pages to "One for my Baby" by Tony Parsons will bring about that "aw man" feeling that helps to make you feel better.  Sometimes books can be just as good as chocolate!

Leanne Banks: Alice in Wonderland - guaranteed to make me smile.

Khatija Bhayat:  The Quran-works wonders every time I’m down.

Gadeeja: How Stella Got Her Groove Back. The book, at first, seems to drag, but once you get into the swing of things you will discover that it’s a really good and a wonderfully uplifting read. It's well written and tells the story of a woman’s journey to self discovery and love of herself and others.

Hasmita Bhana: Definitely confessions of a shopaholic! It’s so funny and doesn't make those of us would rather have clothes than food feel so bad.

The Suitcase Stories (Refugee children reclaim their identity)....this book highlights the challenges that are faced by refugee children.

Julandi Smal: The Secret Garden - Frances Hodgson Burnett. Even though it is a children's book, re-reading it as an adult is a must. It confirms that no matter how difficult a situation might be, with good friends, determination, and belief in oneself, anything and everything is possible!

Melanie-ann Diesel:  The Adrian Mole series. No matter how bad my day is these books are guaranteed to make me giggle!

Annalize MacDonald: Anything by Marian Keyes - I just love her style - it's chicklit but it's smart, and unexpected and funny. In The Brightest Star she has a character who says she'll commit suicide by eating copious amounts of chocolate cheesecake. That is a ...surefire pick me up!
