Britters is being sued by the licensing firm that helped to launch her first fragrance line, reports CBS News. The singer is said to owe Brand Sense Partners a hefty $10 million for breach of contract after she failed to pay their commission for debuting the scents.
The firm claim that the singer "secretly made a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky, under-handed effort to circumvent and evade its obligations to Brand Sense." Basically, Britters wanted Arden to pay her directly so she could cut Brand Sense out of the deal.
Britney's defence has fired back, saying the singer is not legally competent enough to give testimony.
Is that a nice way of saying Britney's too crazy for court…?
