Creating a twisted bun is as easy as 1,2,3

Step 1

Begin by using your ghd tail comb (R149) or ghd oval dressing brush (R359)

Create a smooth, even glossy pony tail in the nape of your neck.

Secure tightly, with an elastic band or bungee band, keeping the pony as tight and compact as possible.

Step 2

Lightly mist ghd curl hold spray (R210) over each individual section of the ponytail, to provide thermal protection and support the curl.

Ensure that you don’t over-dampen the hair.

Step 3

Using the ghd platinum™ styler (R2999) with patented tri-zone™ technology for even and consistent heat.

Take small sub-sections of hair and place the styler in at the base of the pony with the cord facing up.

With your four fingers on top, rotate the styler towards the hair, ending with your thumb on top and pull through to the ends.

Step 4

Using the same technique, repeat on the next section. This will ensure that all of the hair is curled in the same direction.

Continue till all the hair is curled.

Step 5

For added support, lightly mist ghd final fix hair spray (R210) onto the piece that you have just curled.

Brush through with the ghd oval dressing brush (R359).

Begin twisting the pony on top of itself, so that it lies flat against the head.

Secure the pony with bobby pins as you twist it around the elastic.

Step 6

Using your index finger, create an opening in the center of the twist, so that you have a fuller bun with controlled definition.

Step 7

Gently open the twists as you wrap them, so that you create a fuller bun and secure on the inside with the smaller bobby pins.

Step 8

Apply a generous mist of ghd final fix hair spray (R210) to the secured bun and cup your hand over to hide any "fly-aways".

Lightly mist over the rest of your style to secure.

Slap on that cocktail dress and have a night on the town.
