The double barrette

Spotted on the runway at the Versace Summer 2018 showing, this might just be a perfect accessory for you're if you're in Cape Town and battling the wind.

Grip your hair on both sides with everyday barrettes and rock this schoolgirl-inspired trend.

Scrunchies

They're here to stay, okay? One of my favourite brands, Mansur Gavriel styled models' hair in colourful scrunchies for their Fall 2018 show and I fell in love. It's the perfect colourful accessory to wear to a festival or if you're keen to add a pop of 1989 to your everyday look.

Head bands

I wasn't sure about this one until Manrepeller.com managed to convince me. The humble band you might use to hold your hair back as you wash your face at night might soon be considered high fashion. It's all in the styling, really.

So whether it's a silk scarf, velvet headband or a cheap-cheap stretchy one from Clicks, adding big earrings and a hawt dress immediately makes you look like you stepped out of a D&G or Versace ad.
