SPORTY SIDE PONY
At Paris Fashion Week Womenswear S/S 2017 the models walking for Chanel strutted their stuff down the catwalk in messy low side ponytails, featuring summer’s hottest accessory – the cap, which was tilted to the side. There were whispers of hair peaking from the underneath the cap falling onto the front of the face. It’s a cool lazy weekend look!

The controversy around black girl and their kinky hair has always been an issue on the runway with designers shying away from booking black models because they couldn’t pull off the looks that were envisioned for the clothes. Times have since changed and we are embracing our nappy strands. Look at the ‘fros that graced the catwalk at Thakoon’s collaboration with Kerastase S/S17.
THE BUN
Here we see three models walking for Dior in the simplest yet chicest look from previous and recent fashion shows. There was a pop of freshness though, with three cornrows leading up to the bun. It’s far from neat and it goes with everything you could ever imagine.
