Smoky eyes

This was definitely the "It" makeup look in the 90s as grunge was hitting the scene hard and fast. Most people paired this strong eye with nude matte lips; and years later, we are still loving (and slaying) this look.

Frosty eyeshadow

Back in the day frosted eye shadow was huge. If you never rocked this trend, then I'm afraid you were not a part of the cool kids. Sorry, but it's true.

This trend has recently been seeing a comeback as it has been spotted on runways. And the sparkle and shimmer of this eye is ideal for summer party statements. YAAAAAAs!

Dark lips 

Halle Berry, Gwen Stefani, Drew Barrymore and other celebrities owned this look. Today, Kylie Jenner and Rihanna have adopted dark lips in berry and brown as their pout staple.

We advise you to swap your lip-gloss for a dark lipstick to add a bit of edge and oomph this summer.
