Glitter or shimmer nails are very pretty but not so easy to put on, right? Sometimes the nail polish comes out patchy and takes forever to dry, and let’s not even mention the removal process. Nightmare!
The good news is that it is possible for a glitter nail polish to look as good as it does in the bottle and we have come up with a few tips for you, from applying to removing it. You’re welcome!

The best way to apply
1. Apply your base coat as normal.
2. Apply your glitter nail polish onto the edge of a makeup sponge.
3. Dab the sponge onto your nail.
4. Apply a top coat so the glitter doesn't chip off as easily.

1. Toothpaste
Use white toothpaste and scrub it into the nails with a toothbrush. Rinse and if necessary repeat the process until the nail polish is completely removed.
2. Glue
Another trick is to paint on white glue as a base coat for your glitter nail polish; it makes the removal process easy.
