According to Viral Thread, initially it began as a satirical trend amongst Instagram users before it went viral. Many people assumed it was real and even started participating in it themselves.
YouTuber, Davison Video even created a parody tutorial where she ‘showed’ her followers how to recreate the look at home.
The ‘extensions’ are made from fake eyelashes that’re rolled into the shape of a circle to cover your nostrils.
We suggest you don’t breathe too hard or even sneeze because they might just disappear.
Even though it was meant to be a joke, people on social media are freaking out and this particular trend is getting a lot of attention.
