Rihanna was the first one to spark the cuticle tattoo trend last year at Cannes, and we love that delicate body art is still trending.

Henna or temporary tattoos

However, the permanent tattoos can also be switched for temporary ones – so if you have a) a low pain tolerance or b) a fear of committing to ink or c) just want to give this trend a quick go, you can still perfect your manicure with fab henna and metallic inks.

You can also go the DIY route. All you need is an eyeliner (preferably waterproof) with a sharp tip and some creativity! You'll have a cuticle tattoo at no cost.

Cuticle rings

Cuticle rings are also making their way through the finger art trend this year.

Artist Aziza Nicole makes these rings with precision from her home jewellery studio and says that she cuts and polishes the rings out of a sheet of metal.
