Wash with luke warm water
Hot showers are not so great for your skin, and could be worse for your face. Exposing your face to extreme temperatures can cause dryness and skin irritation. So, for dewy and radiant skin adjust your water temperature to lukewarm.
Remove your make-up first
After a long day at work the only thing you want is to relax in a hot tub, right? Even though you’re still going to wash your face the dirt from the make up can be stubborn to remove with only a cleanser. Do this step and follow with your daily cleanser for a much more cleaner and refreshed face.
Don’t over exfoliate
Some people believe that leaving a mask on for longer than recommended, makes it more efficient. But, this isn’t the case. Having a daily cleansing routine which includes cleansing, exfoliating, toning, moisturising plus using a variety of acne creams can stress your skin, hence you should always keep it simple. Three in one products are great at saving you time and don’t stress on your skin as much.
Rinse, rinse and rinse
Not rinsing your face enough can lead to product build-up, which if not attended to can clog your pores. Commonly neglected parts are around the nose, the jawline and close to the hairline. So, no matter how you quickly you want to finish this, never neglect these parts.
Pat don’t rub
The skin on your face is much more delicate than the rest of your body so you shouldn’t be drying it the same way you do your body. Instead of rubbing your face dry, try patting it instead.
