Okay, let's talk about why Trump is so orange

accreditation

The new U.S. president elect, The Don, has what fellow Republican Marco Rubio once called "the worst spray tan in America." Aside from George Hamilton and Snooki, I'd say that's about fair. And people have loved talking about it over the last year especially. To be fair, it's impossible to miss.

But what's really going on there?

Personally, I think he's a witch. But let's dissect.

Looking back at a picture snapped of him in the '80s with first wife Ivanka, the mogul still appears to be the standard pale hue of a Caucasian human.

According to Revelist.com, Don started to dabble in what appears to be sunless tanning methods around 1999, as pictures taken of him during this time show a definitive oranging.

But by 2005 this alarmingly yellow-orange face colour seemed to be his new normal. Maybe this was Melania's influence? She looks pretty peachy herself.

And now, as we have come to know him over the course of the last year especially: The ever-present Aromat face.

Unfortunately, Don is not better with Aromat.

Fashionista and many other online speculators suggest that his radioactive glow comes from sunbeds and/or spray tans.

Wonder if he counts Mississippily?

This conclusion has been drawn based mainly on the appearance of the area around his eyes. It's lighter and whiter in colour, which assumes he wears those little protective goggles while getting his tan did. Sure, wearing sunglasses and tanning normally in the sun would also create this effect, however, his blatant ORANGENESS proves that this isn't a natural suntan.

Quora suggests his makeup artist doesn't blend properly when she contours his face.

Can I just take a moment and say: Ha!

How to avoid looking like Donald Trump:

- Sunbeds have been around for a while and are effective for bronzing skin. Yet radiation exposure can cause a lot of health problems. Sunbedbad.co.uk notes that it can cause sun cancer and damage your eyes, especially as it directly exposes you to UVA and UVB rays. This also goes for tan cans.

- When applying self tan, mix it with your moisturiser to minimise the formula - this applies for both face and body. GetTheGloss says that you should also apply a light layer of moisturiser to your hairline and eyebrows if you have very fair skin. This will stop these areas from absorbing the self tanning product.

- Apply the product in circular motions, ensuring that all surfaces of the skin is covered. Take special care around bumpy areas such as the ankles, knees and elbows to ensure that no excess product is left around those areas, as it will result in darker patches.

Try Uber Natural Beauty range that work with the pigment of the skin. We are also delighted with the Clarins self tan - it works beautifully!
