Letter one:

I have stopped my birth control pills after taking this for 15 years, it's my first month off this and I'm breaking out with acne from the hormones. What I'm doing is using a make-up remover, then face wash twice a day, a scrub twice a week and oil free face cream. - Jackie

Letter two:

My skin routine involves washing my face daily with oatmeal skincare range, because I have a lot of acne and marks I use a moisturiser that's all and my skin is in between oily and dry. Then in the evening before bed I just wash my face with oatmeal skincare range and use a moisturiser. – Serishka

Letter three:

My daily skincare routine doesn’t involve very much. I wash with Dettol soap when I bath. I wash my face three or four times a day, because it becomes oily and at night I put an oil-free moisturiser on my whole face and zinc oxide cream where there are scabs from blemishes. – Samantha

Letter four:

Morning: Wash with Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot stress control daily scrub, then apply Grapeseed oil and follow up with Neutrogena visibly clear moisturiser. I either follow up with Dream Matte Mouse or Revlon Powder depending on what my day is like.

Night: Wash with Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot stress control daily scrub and follow with the moisturiser. – Ayanda

Letter five:

Well, the night before almost my entire face is covered in Sudocrem in the hopes of ridding the acne. It actually does dry out the white heads.

So in the morning I wipe my face down with the Garnier Micellar Water. Then I lather on Dove soap and on top of that I use a Revitalising Cleansing Gel. Then I use Rooibos Even Tone Moisturiser.

In the evenings, I wipe my face down with the Micellar and repeat the morning process topped off with Sudocrem again. Unfortunately nothing seems to help my skin (adult acne) and now I've recently had a full breakout. – Simone

Letter six:

Morning:
1. Cleans with milk cleaner (Isabella Garcia)
2. Moisturise with Johnson & Johnson
3. Keep hydrated throughout the day

Evening:
1. Exfoliating scrub (Isabella Garcia)
2. Tone
3. Moisturise with night cream – Nikki

Letter seven:

I have acne problems. I have tried every product you can think of from Olay, Neutrogena, Garnier just to mention a few. I have also used products from a dermatologist, but they still didn't work.

At the moment, I am using the Ponds Spot Clear product with their anti-marks cream, there's not much of a difference. I cleanse every morning and sometimes at night and I use Clicks facial wipes to tone my skin. - Fulu

Letter eight:

I wash my face every morning and evening with a mild cleanser, followed by a toner in the morning and I use a sunscreen and day cream, and in the evening a repair serum followed by night cream. – Emmelene

Letter nine:

I use hot water to steam and aloe plant on my face. I've applied lemon juice and have also applied a white toothpaste directly on the pimples. - Vuyani
