5 Times water ruined wedding shoots

accreditation

1. Standing too close to the water

Nothing says bright idea like choosing to have your ceremony on the beach and as close to the sea as possible.

There’s certainly nothing wrong with opting to have your nuptials officiated on the seashore, but having it about two feet away from the foamy waves? That’s just asking for trouble.

2. The dock that just gave up on this wedding party

Why do people always think that this is a good idea? And also, who built this pier that just couldn’t (or wouldn’t) hold all of these people?

Although, judging from the bridesmaid at the end of the line, one can’t help but get the feeling that she was just waiting for something like this to happen.  Talk about a lucky escape.

3. The little pier that couldn’t

Oh honestly.  I swear this bridal party copied the wedding entourage in the previous video. It’s like they looked it up on YouTube and thought, “Well let’s go with what they’re doing. What could possibly go wrong?” (I mean, they even have a similar colour scheme.)

Here’s a tip: Always avoid the flimsy constructions.

4. Wedding fountain fail

There’s nothing more romantic than having your wedding photo taken near or in front of a fountain. However, for some this just isn’t enough.  As if balancing on the first tier of this romantic water feature isn’t hard enough, this ambitious couple decided that the second tier (with a little help of course) is where they wanted to be.

Needless to say that this ended in disaster.

5. It’s old, but it’s gold

Ok, so this may not be real, but it’s still hilarious and proves why ceremonies or photo shoots near any body of water is (mostly) never a good idea.

Bonus:

Still going to have a beach ceremony or photography shoot anyway? At least make sure you’ve checked the weather.
