This maid of honour threw the “never upstage the bride” rule straight out of the window with her array of crazy poses.

Maid of honour Sharilyn Wester decided to add a bit fun to her designated wedding duties by opting to photobomb her BFF’s wedding – and the pictures are totally hilarious!

Photographer Ashley Hempel snapped Rebecca and James Foster’s special day by taking fabulous photos of the newlywed couple. But she wasn’t fully prepared for the pictures she’d be capturing after the maid of honour asked to do a special “veil toss”.

Ashley, who lives in Canada, posted a series of pictures on her Facebook page and captioned it: “Not quite what I meant when I asked for a veil toss.”

According to Huffington Post, newlywed Rebecca, was in on the joke and knew that Sharilyn was about to make a rather epic scene. But James, on the other hand, was rather clueless about what was about to happen – and it’s clearly evident from his rather unamused facial expressions.

Because Rebecca and Sharilyn share the same oddball sense of humour, the besties decided to prank James with rib-tickling and rather memorable poses during the veil toss shoot.

“We’ve been best friends since after high school,” Sharilyn said to Huffington Post. “I’m originally from Canada but am living in the USA now, so we knew that being together again at her wedding, we had to do something memorable.”

Ashley – who was in on the prank – admits that while taking the prize pictures, they found it very hard not to laugh.

“Sharilyn held the veil up and did her crazy poses and I died. We all had a hard time keeping straight faces,” Ashley says.
