If you haven’t heard of bridal designer Alfred Angelo yet, that will soon change after you see his latest collection of bridal gowns.
According to Fashionista.com, Angelo made headlines with this beautiful and strapless ice-blue gown, based on Elsa from Disney’s Frozen, and is now once again making waves with his Spring 2017 Disney collection which was recently showcased in New York.
From Belle and Mulan, to Pocahantas, Tiana and Snow White, the beautiful designs are every bit as princess-esque as you’d imagine them to be.
A strapless, mermaid-style dress for everyone’s favourite mermaid, Ariel.
A flowy, off the shoulder trumpet dress inspired by Tiana from The Princess and the Frog.
The Mulan dress is all delicate lace detail.
This gorgeous A-line skirt with its beautiful bodice and flowing skirt is a dress that could only be meant for Aurora (aka Sleeping Beauty).
Angelo previously featured an Elsa-inspired dress, but this time around this gorgeous frock comes with a cape that would fit the ice-queen’s look to a tee.
This dress was inspired by Pocahontas. While we adore the asymmetrical organza covering the model’s one shoulder (the asymmetry similar to the buck skin dress Pocahontas wears), we thought the dress itself would be shorter. Ah well, still a gorgeous interpretation though!
The gown for my favourite Disney princess of all time, Belle from Beauty and the Beast. It’s so easy to picture and superimpose that yellow gown Belle wears, onto this classic ball gown design. We love the skirt overlay and exquisite detail on the bodice of the dress.
It’s not the kind of dress that Snow White would wear in the woods, but we’re pretty sure that this is what her wedding gown would look like.
The only thing missing from this classic ballgown is the glass slippers. Who else could it be meant for but Cinderella?
Inspired by Princess Jasmine, this sequined gown with beaded embellishments is pure perfection.
