The past weekend the internet has been ablaze with news and gorgeous images of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews's lavish wedding.
According to Refinery29, her gown was designed by Giles Deacon, English fashion designer extraordinaire. The lace-embellished A-Line gown had a corseted bodice and heart-shaped detail at the neck and was timeless and classic.
A Victorian-style gown with a modern twist, if you will.
If you’re getting married soon and are in love with her look, here are a few wedding gowns you might want to check out for some bridal inspo.
We're obsessed with the easy and effortless flow of her gown's skirt, so if you're looking for a gown that won't restrict you in terms of movement, then the dress above (a Santos Costura design which featured on the runway earlier this year) is definitely something to consider.
Lace is your friend. Pippa's gown is detailed with lace from head to toe, a feat that, according to Refinery29 was achieved with the help of at least 15 - 20 master tailors. We think this Carlo Pignatelli gown is on point.
According to Vogue, Pippa's stunning floor-length veil was made by milliner Stephen Jones who used tulle and embroidered pearls at the bottom of the veil.
On the local front, you definitely can't go wrong with a Kobus Dippenaar design.
The lace cap-sleeves on Pippa's gown is a classic. But, if you're not a fan of lace, play around with different types of beading and embellishments, especially if the rest of your gown will be relatively simple in comparison.
