A young couple’s union started off on a fiery note when fireworks accidentally went off in the car taking them to the venue where they’d be married.
The man and woman needed to flee the vehicle after the fireworks ended up causing a full-scale blaze.
The incident happened in the Henan province in Central China.
According to Metro UK, the fireworks were going to be used as part of the wedding celebration, but things didn’t go as planned.
What exactly caused them to go off is as yet still unknown.
And to make matters worse the couple weren’t even officially married when the incident took place.
According to reports the convoy stopped when smoke started streaming from the vehicle.
Within 10 minutes the car was engulfed in flames and the fireworks kept going off, reports Metro UK.
But the couple, who fortunately escaped unharmed, didn’t let the accident stop them.
They hopped into another car and rushed to their wedding venue to officially tie the knot.
Talk about starting things off with a big bang!
