We’ve seen all the wacky royal wedding collector’s items, but the idea of a CD doesn't sound too bad.
The modern-day royal nuptials will be recorded and available on iTunes a few hours after the ceremony. Individual tracks will be sold (vows, the reading, hymns and blessings) and a deluxe CD package including a special booklet will also be sold as well.
In fact it seems as though the whole thing could turn out to be like a mini musical concert of some sorts. As expected there will be a whole lot of classical music performances: the London Chamber Orchestra, the Choir of Westminster Abbey, the Chapel Choir and the Fanfare Team of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force.
The album will be produced by well- known classical record producer – who’s worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jose Carreras – Anna Barry.
Okay so maybe you’re not into classics, but want something that’s a bit more modern yet commemorative to the wedding? Good news. BBC released 3 CD’s with classic love songs to celebrate William and Kate’s love. Songs include: Frank Sinatra -Love And Marriage, Nat King Cole -Our Love Is Here To Stay and Dean Martin -Memories Are Made Of This to name but a few.
FYI, this will be the very first time a royal wedding will be released digitally! Awesomeness.
