Worst weight loss plan... Ever!

accreditation
Almost every bride wants her gown to fit perfectly.  Of course, that means having to do whatever it takes to get your body in shape.

Thankfully, many sensible brides-to-be opt for eating healthy, doing the right amount of exercise and cutting down on junk food.

The not-so-sensible and very desperate ones?

They opt for the new K-E diet; a radical new weight-loss solution which consist of dieters having a tube inserted into their nose. According to the Dailymail, followers of this diet would get all the required fat, vitamins and water the body would need and can lose up to 9 kg in just 10 days.

Sound like something you'd consider?

Ask yourself this first:

•    Would you pay $1,500 (approximately R11,783) to put up with something that will, without a doubt, cause you more than a small measure of discomfort?

•    How healthy is this really?

•    Would you really want to walk around with a tube in your nose (outside of hospital) and carry the bag of fluids that it comes with all day long?

•    How willing would you be to endure some of the nasty side effects (which includes bad breath, constipation and exhaustion to mention but a few)?

•    Finally, is it healthy to lose that amount of weight in such a small time frame? Surely you'd need to at least eat something?

I don't know about you, but I think this is taking things way too far. Do we really have to have another diet fad that exists only to :

a) make women feel even more insecure about themselves;
b) pressure women into losing weight  in the most drastic manner possible?
