3. Chocolate taster
Chocolatiers the world over have teams of professional tasters who taste all their new products. Tasters then rate the products and suggest certain changes. Sounds...delicious!
4. Professional snuggler
Apparently, in the US, people will pay up to $60 (about R646.53) per private snuggle session. This is not a sexual thing, but rather a therapeutic session for people seeking platonic intimacy.
5. President poison taster
The ancient Egyptians and the Romans employed them, but did you know that being a poison taster is still a potential career option for today? Vladimir Putin apparently has food tasters who travel with him and taste his food. All his consumables are inspected by a medically-qualified professional sampler, who makes sure that it is completely safe to eat.
6. Fake review writer
This is definitely unethical, yet some companies pay a lot of money to people willing to write fake positive reviews on products online – creating a false buzz around products, experiences, etc.

When slipping your feet into a brand-new pair of shoes, just take a second to enjoy the smooth, wrinkle-free design. Why so? Someone is actually paid to sit in the factory with a tiny steam iron to make sure your footwear is crease-free.

Love to hit that snooze button? Then maybe this one is for you. Sleeping for a living can be rather fun as you get into your PJs on a daily basis, usually as part of sleep research projects.
