It's almost time for the Oscars again! And we, along with Channel24, are gearing up for most prestigious event in all of Hollywood.
And one of the most important parts of the night is, of course, who presents the show. There have been some great (and not so great) hosts over the years. Remember Anne Hathaway and James Franco?
But, now we celebrate Ellen DeGeneres; actress, talk show host, and all round awesome person who will host the awards for the second time.
When I heard that Ellen was chosen to host the 2014 Academy Awards, I have to admit I was more than a little bit excited. I mean, this woman is amazing. She's talented, smart, and just a whole lot of fun. Have you seen her show? It's a riot!
So, in her honour, I thought I'd compile a list of reasons we love this feisty comedienne.
1. Celebrities love her
She can get them to do anything. She got Britney Spears to go caroling with her. Dennis Quaid to make himself look like a fool in Starbucks, and many other celebrities to look like idiots.
2. She's the voice of Dory
Otherwise known as the best (and funniest) character in the sea.
3. She's 55, but doesn't look a day over 40
Seriously, did she make a deal with the devil or something? She looks great!
4. She's a great dancer
Go Ellen! It's your birthday! I'm sure she'll get all royalty of Hollywood grooving in their seats.
5. She did a dramatic reading of 50 Shades of Grey that will keep you giggling for ages.

6. She's a badass rapper
We're hoping she drops a rhyme or two at the Oscars.
7. She's genuinely in love with her wife and isn't afraid to show it
Somebody pass the tissues. Their love is just so beautiful *starts bawling like a baby*
8. She's true to herself
She refused to wear a dress for W magazine when she was featured on their cover in 2007. Ellen said she considered "playing dress up", but then decided that she doesn't feel comfortable and wouldn't apologise for who she is.
9. She loves her mom
Ellen's mom, Betty, is at most tapings of her daughter's show and has the best seat in the house.
10. She's just so damn hilarious
How can you not laugh when this woman is on TV?
