Remember the Golden Globes when Amy Poehler and Tina Fey poked fun at Taylor’s love life? Well, it turns out that Taylor wasn’t all that amused.
In her latest Vanity Fair interview, the I Knew You Were Trouble singer says: “You know, Katie Couric is one of my favourite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women’.”
What a way to let it burn, eh?
Anyway, Amy responds with an hilarious answer, as usual.
“Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist and she is a young and talented girl, that being said, I do agree, I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”
Well played, Amy. Well played.
On the other hand, Tina swears she “did not see that one coming,” referring to Taylor’s apparent distaste of her and Amy’s joke.
“It was a light-hearted joke,” says Tina.
