Sheryl, who dated Lance from 2003 to 2006, during his last two Tour De France victories, tells Entertainment Tonight: “I think that honesty is always the best bet, and that the truth will set you free.
“It’s got to be really hard to walk around knowing that you’re not telling the truth about something.”
She also says: “I know how hard he worked to win those titles, and you know, it was hard to watch. I felt bad. I felt bad for him, I felt bad for his family, and I kinda felt like the rest of America. He is a hero that we watched and looked up to and admire.”
According to Celebuzz, Sheryl was named twice in affidavits given to the US Anti-Doping Agency revealing that she was present when Lance asked his ex-teammate to lie about his doping.
Sheryl hasn’t said anything about having knowledge of Lance’s habits, but we still wonder...
