Joan Rivers disses Adele

Joan Rivers is known for her sharp tongue and cruel humour, but I think this joke might have pissed off a few too many people.

She was on David Letterman’s show when she started taking shots at the singer. The video clip shows the following:

“I met Adele,” she says as she puffs out her cheeks and extends hers arms making obvious fun of the singer’s size.

When the audience boos in protest, Joan turns to them and says: “No. No. She’s thin. Can we just talk to each other here?

“What is her song? ‘Rolling in the Deep?’” she asks. “She should add ‘Fried Chicken’!”

David Letterman, just watches with a smile for the most part. Although, he actually laughs once or twice.

Joan also says: “She sang live and said, 'My throat, my throat, I don't know if I can swallow.' And I said, 'Oh, you can swallow.'"

That’s just unbelievably mean!
