According to Gossip Cop, Lindsay dumped Barbara for Jay Leno on the advice of her new publicists.
As you can imagine, Barbara is not happy about the star cancelling the interview.
The TV icon, who is also a host on The View , said that Lilo backed out of the interview because Walters was told the former child star “doesn’t feel up to it.”.
She told her co-hosts on The View that Lindsay’s decision to do another show after cancelling with her was disappointing.
“Well, I mean she has a lot of problems, and (the interview) was just one more, and i said, you know, ‘poor girl, I hope when she feels like it, she will do (the interview)’. But today, I pick up the paper and Lindsay Lohan is sitting for an interview with Jay Leno,” says Barbara.
Yikes! Barbara also says:
“I would have appreciated it if her new PR people... if they’d said to me ‘You know Barbara, she isn’t up to the kinds of questions that you might ask, although most of them were about comparing her life to ElizabethTaylor’s...If they had told me that, I wouldn’t feel quite as disappointed, as I do today.”
I think Lindsay really missed the boat on this one. “It would have been a wonderful, wonderful interview. She could have set a lot of things straight,” says Barbara.
I, for one, cannot wait to see how her interview with Jay Leno.
What do you think of Lindsay’s decision? Should she have gone with Barbara or Jay?
