We all know about the drama these two divas are supposedly causing on American Idol, and, while many thought that it was all an act to raise the reality shows, ratings Mariah Carey insisted that it was all real.
According to GossipCop.com, the two artists felt like their figh was blown out of proportion. “I think the fighting is what it is. This is American Idol. It’s bigger than all that. It’s bigger than some stupid trumped-up thing,” says Mariah.
Nicki Minaj also plays down their beef when asked about the authenticity of their tension. “We’re professionals. Have you ever had an argument with someone you’ve worked with?” she says.
The Starships singer went as far as paying her fellow judge a compliment, and says that Mariah is one of her all time favourite musicians.
And, even though Mariah admitted in an earlier interview with Barbara Walters that she feared for her safety, the star felt comfortable enough to compliment her fellow judge and reflect on the pairs collaboration Up Out My Face.
Looks like we’ll have to wait ‘til the next season to see if the stars have really moved past their drama.
