A viola player named Natalie Holt, who was a contestant on the show last season, was part of the backing group during a performance by singers Richard and Adam Johnson, (who were really nailing their performance, by the way) and managed to run to the front of the stage and start pelting Simon, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams with eggs.
She was quickly removed by security after her scramble (see what I did there?) and Britain’s Got Talent released a statement saying: “...As a result of her misguided actions the police were called. However, we have decided to take no further action at this stage."
NatalieThe Nutter later put out a statement apologising to the performers and calling her action a “silly thing to do.” Uh, ya think?!
Here’s a video of the eggcident, which happens around 1:49.
