Whitney Houston FBI files revealed

It seems as though stories of The Bodyguard actress keep surfacing, even a year after her death.

A new side to Whitney Houston’s life has been revealed by the FBI who, in response to the Freedom of Information Act, have released a 128 page document on the star’s personal details.

Not only was she struggling with drugs and in an abusive relationship, but Whitney was also being extorted by a person that she considered her friend.

According to the documents, a letter dated 1992 was sent to her by a woman who threatened to reveal details of Whitney’s life. This unidentified woman was later paid off for her silence by the singer’s father.

Other documents released by the government agency consisted of obsessed fan letters that noted the fans as potential stalkers.

And judging by the type of letters that these fans wrote the authorities had a reason to be alarmed.

One’s fan letter read: “Over the past 17 months, I have sent … 66 letters to Miss Whitney. … I have been to 9 of Miss Whitney’s concerts and I have tried to give her flowers twice at the concerts. … When I first fell in love with Miss Whitney Houston I tried to ignore what I felt towards her. After 5 months I had to do something so I started writing letters.”

Scary right? I wonder if Cissy Houston will add all these crazy details to the book she’s written about her daughter.
