I honestly thought it was a prank when I heard that Kim and Kanye decided to name their child North West.
We weren’t sure what had gotten into the parents when they chose to name their child after a province, but now it makes perfect sense (well, just a bit).
Momager and proud grandmother to North, Kris Jenner, explains in an interview with the ladies on The View what the real meaning behind the name is.
“The way Kim explained it to me was that North means Highest Power, and she says that North is their highest point together.” She says in the interview.
How cute. But I’m still not a fan of the name.
