Why is no one talking about Donald Trump's other daughter Tiffany?

Until about an hour ago, when I finally succumbed and clicked on one of those horrendous clickbait-y articles which promised me “the dark truth behind Donald Trump’s secret daughter”, I was under the impression that America’s controversial new president only had one daughter, Ivanka and three sons (brunette mini-me, blond mini-me, and the kid). 

But after a bit of googling it turns out Trump has another daughter, 23-year-old Tiffany, from second wife, Marla Maples.

Of course my search revealed that she was no secret at all, and that there are few dark truths. (If you discount the obvious, that is.)

She is so NOT secret that she has nearly 800 000 followers on Instagram, appeared on Oprah and 60 minutes, had a Vanity Fair feature (with Ivanka, admittedly) and even spoke at the Republican National Convention about how much respect she has for her dad. 

So how did I, and three of my colleagues, miss her existence entirely? I’m not really sure.

Perhaps because despite her Ivy League education and Vogue internship her elder siblings all hold executive positions in his empire and she doesn’t?

Or is it that she grew up in California with mom Marla while the rest of the family lived on the East Coast? Perhaps because Trump once said he’s very proud of his kids and “to a lesser extent, Tiffany.”

Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that no one wanted to sit next to her at New York Fashion Week (many designers used their front rows to make anti-Trump statements)? 

At least it seems that stepmom Melania is being nice to this seemingly forgotten child.
