He was known as ‘Bra Eddie’ to many of his fans and viewers of Etv’s Scandal.
The channel confirmed that the actor died in hospital due to natural causes where he was admitted earlier in the week.
Etv expressed, in their statement, that Sandy had been with the show Scandal ever since its inception in 2005 and they are deeply saddened by the loss.
His co-stars Mvelo Makhanya, Busisiwe Mtsali, Mapaseka Koetle, Kagiso Modupe and Kgomotso Christopher expressed their sadness on social media.
