Sedima agrees to corroborate Barker’s story on how he acquired title deeds to the land but at what cost? Nina drives herself crazy trying to figure out why Majola went AWOL on her after the lovely weekend they had. A new face on the Deep hits it off with Nina.
Angelique is confident that Ofentse’s bail hearing will go smoothly, but then there’s a spanner in the works. Nina does something nice for another person which has a surprising outcome. Nikiwe finds herself at wit’s end.
Sechaba begins questioning how Sedima became such a big spender overnight. Majola continues to play the field. Nikiwe tries to get herself together by going in to SG, but things turn out horribly.
Sechaba and Matlala agree to work together to investigate Sedima. Bev offers to cancel her plans with a friend, but Majola lies, saying he’s working late while he has a secret plan afoot. Kgothalo arrives at Nikiwe’s hotel room with a pleasant surprise.
Barker is fed up with Sedima’s greedy mouth and devises a plan. Barker is sick of Sedima demanding money so he gets the miners involved. Nina and Bev find solace in each other. Nikiwe is sick of people feeling pity for her.
