Mawewe puts pressure on Lungile to pay him more bribe money. Wiseman warns Puleng not to let Suffocate back into her life. The church’s hold over Puleng intensifies. Palesa takes leave of the shack and Emmanuel decides to get some counselling.
Lerato tells Nomalanga her big secret. Bongi gets a new roommate - Quanita, who suffers from paranoid delusions. Mawewe starts freaking out when the doctor says he needs to run a series of tests to find out what’s wrong with Bongi. Sifiso makes a move on Mampho.
Lerato is keeping her distance from Lungile, but she goes to see Bongi at the asylum. Lungile stopped giving her regular doses of the drug. A new contract convinces Puleng that her new religious friends are the real deal. Mampho finds her voice and stands up to Shakes.
Puleng's religious fervour grows by the day, embracing the idea that God is saving her business. David and Andiswa, bored and up to no good, set up another scam. Sifiso tries to get closer to Mampho.
