Man Photoshops himself into his childhood snaps in beautiful photo series

accreditation

Ever wondered what it would be like to travel back to your childhood and experience every moment with your younger self?

Well, this photographer figured out a genius way to go back in time to when those special shots were snapped – sort of.

Photographer Conor Nickerson (), from Montréal in Canada , decided to use his photography and Photoshop skills to seamlessly insert himself into his old photos from nearly 20 years ago.

And because Conor is a Photoshop wizard, his edits are so good it’s hard to tell the pics have even been altered!

Conor told PetaPixel he originally got the idea for the project, which he shared on his website, while working on a then-and-now series which showed the same locations across time.

“So when I was looking through my old photos I must have thought of that, because I decided I wanted to see if I could pull off the same thing with my own childhood photos and I went for it,” Conor told PetaPixel.

It took him about took about six months to complete the series. He wrote on Reddit that the trickiest part of the project was matching the quality of the photos.

"Matching the quality of the new photo to the old was definitely a challenge! It involved a lot of blurring, sharpening, and noise to try to get it to look like an older photo."

Here are some of the best ones:
