You might have seen your Twitter friends sharing pictures of what they would look like if they were a different gender or age. The fun-to-use and free-to-download FaceApp is behind the trend.

Although it sometimes doesn’t do a great job of changing your face realistically (a female AKA still has a touch of a moustache), some of the depictions are startlingly convincing.
