Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, showcasing autumn/winter 2017 womenswear, opened to a very cold and rainy Camps Bay evening.
One of the most-anticipated shows of the evening Mille Collines was even moved out because of the unsafe weather conditions - the wind was gaining momentum at 58 km per hour.
Good call AFI, it was windy AF.
Luckily, a few outfits made us happy we stepped out the door for the night.

His show was inspired by love, and we did luuurve this outfit - YAS to forest green tassels and off the shoulder looks.
Joanna Hedley
This young Cape Town-based designer was the mustard to our ham sandwich. We also loved her olive green gown and elaborate headpieces (though I would think slightly impractical for office environments).
Lara Klawikowski
We loved the pretty autumn capes and structured dresses - especially this one in rust.
Droomer
This young designer gave us a lit collection of street wear featuring puffer jackets, baseball caps, pastels and beautiful metallic boots.
This was everyone's favourite outfit...
Such a stunning collection.
Jenny Le Roux - Habits
Velvet, moonbags (!!) and pleats defined her show.
Shana and Stefania Morland
Shana gave us Italian summer while Stefania's starry-starry night inspired pieces made us glow.
