Yes, the rumours are true - you can now shop the world's most talked about fashion label in one of South Africa's most vibrant areas.

Luxury streetwear label Off-White's pop up store in Braamfontein comes on the heels of Black Coffee's Music is King concert happening on Saturday, 15 December.

The internationally acclaimed DJ had previously hinted on Twitter in October that his multi-threat creative director and music producer friend, Virgil Abloh's merchandise would be hitting our shores this month.

According to YoMzansi, the store is set up on 6 De Beer Street (next to DEBUT Store).

It's fitting that Abloh's creations be available in a neighbourhood as youthful and hypebeast positive as Braam. Not forgetting the big sneaker culture in this area, so Off-White kicks are probably flying off the shelves as we speak.

It was just the other day when the Coke Threds Summer '18 collection launched in Braam's Juta Street (although available online), where innovative local designers much like Virgil Abloh showed off their edgy creations. Rich Mnisi, May Lee, Sol-Sol, and SGOD in collaboration with Coca Cola, presented collections of a similar feel to that of Off-White.

And now with Off-White just around the corner from several Jozi locals, we think the sports luxe trend revival (as if it ever left) is about to get even bigger.

These are the three items we wouldn't mind getting our hands on at the Off-White pop up store:

"SWIM"

"MINI BOX BAGS"

"FOR WALKING"
