Groundbreaking lingerie campaign shows models completely unretouched

accreditation

Earlier this year, Girls creator and actress Lena Dunham declared a retouch ban on all her pictures. She doesn't even use any filters on Instagram. She used her Lenny platform to express her disdain for being Photoshopped into a completely different person in fashion magazines.

She says: "This body is the only one I have. I love it for what it's given me. I hate it for what it's denied me. And now, without further ado, I want to be able to pick my own thigh out of a lineup."

She now appears in the new Lonely lingerie campaign that will form part of the brand's ongoing Lonely Girls Project, i.e. women wearing lingerie in a manner that is normal, instead of the stereotypical seductive poses we are so accustomed to.

Bellies, rolls and yes, even cellulite are on display. Because, guess what? That is what humans actually look like.
