Have your boobs found 'the one'?

accreditation

The internet is claiming that the Sneaky Vaunt bra is the world’s best bra. It has been going viral, especially on Instagram as it promises (and seems to deliver) a bra situation that's backless, strapless and gives cleavage.

Behold, the unicorn bra.

Sounds much better than those horrid chicken fillets, boob stickers or having to yank your strapless bra up from your midriff every 5 minutes. In public.

Here's how it works.

Take note from @beautyrebellion_, girls. This is how you slay the gram. #sneakyvaunt

Unfortunately, unlike Amelia Diamond, I haven't tried said uberbra yet. (They are, however, now shipping to SA)

But the best bra I have ever owned is on my person right now. It's plain and simple and from Studio W at Woolworths.

This one to be exact:

To me, it’s not about flair, but fit. My boobs have never, ever met a lace bra they liked.

Ever since the launch, I have longingly batted my eyelashes at the locally made Nette Rose lace (even velvet!) lingerie and bralettes collection. So pretty!

But squeezing a set of D's into a delicately constructed lace garment would result in something more reminiscent of boob decorations than boob support. Lace nipple tassels isn't really a thing off-stage...

Guess you can't have big boobs AND nice bras.

So, it's fair to say that not all bras are made for all boobs. You need to find 'the one' for your size, not just in terms of correct sizing, but also not wear something unsupportive or ill-fitting just because it's beautiful or on trend.

I asked a few boobs* in the office about their best bra ever:

*not their real names

“OMG! The Triumph magic wire bra is what dreams are made of! It’s soft, comfortable and flexible! LOVE!” - 32B boobs

Triumph Magic Wire Bra Black, R 319 at Zando.co.za

“All my bras are from Woolies. Their quality is the best and it lasts really long. Bought from Mr Price and Jet in the past and really didn’t like it. I usually just buy the two-pack T-shirt underwire, padded sets that sells for around R200.” - 32 B boobs

“Mine is actually Woolworths… they brought out this one non wire bra and I never saw it again! Would’ve bought 10! Luckily my friend didn’t like hers so I have 2 now. It offers support without a wire (I hate the wire) and it has no padding, but still 2 layers of fabric to feel sturdy and cover the nip.

“Also love H&M non wire bras. Bought this 2 back which is made from like a stretchy cotton, so it’s nice and breathable. The shape is really nice too like a mixture between a bikini and sports bra.” - 34 B boobs

H&M non-wired lace bras, 2 pack, R229.

“I normally love my Woolies bras or Cotton On.  They are just a really nice fit because I am normally quite broad chested. For bigger boobs my friend swears by a brand called Storm in a G cup." - 34 C boobs

“How do you really know when you’ve found the best bra ever? So far, the best bras I’ve ever had was from Kangol. It fits my frame nicely and supports my breasts just as it should. Which is difficult when you’re a big girl who has small breasts. They’ve lasted quite long and only recently started stabbing me in the heart with the underwire. So I’ll need to find a new favourite soon.” -38B boobs

"Woolies bras are quite comfy for me and I never struggle to find my size there unlike other stores". - 32A boobs
