#MondayMotivation: think of clothes like food

Add some mustard

Whether you're a fan of cold meats or not, mustard is having a moment. Add a splash or even a whole tablespoon and soon you'll discover the deliciousness of it's unique flavour.

I am especially loving mustard paired with sky blue and white or black. Divine.

And speaking of sky blue, why not pretend you're as rare and unique like that one or two stray blue Smarties in a box?

Find beautiful Mediterranean-inspired sky blue dresses, off-the-shoulder tops and ruffled numbers at Zara, Topshop and Cotton On. Keep it cool by pairing it with gold accessories and an appetite for life.

Don't be a dry Christmas turkey...

...rather show your feathers like a peacock - yes even whilst wearing a plain Jane black dress.

We are seeing lots of lingerie peeking happening - and we like it. It's totes fine to show a bit of lace bra. In fact, it is recommended.

We are obsessed with this look (above); update an old plain maxi with lace-up boots, fresh jewellery and a slice of sex appeal.

Have your "last meal", every day

If you could choose any final meal of your life, what would it be? Mine: battered, fried fish and slapchips for sure. With lots of vinegar.

Now apply this to your everyday wardrobe choices.

I say, don't ever wear a lame polony sandwich of an outfit, dress as if it's your last day, every day.

Fennel ribbons for the win!

Like a delicious piece of corner shop liquorice, I'm encouraging you to seize the moment and indulge. Wrap a black ribbon around your pony for instant French girl charm.
