Suit up
Modernise a classic pant or skirt suit by pairing it with a logo t-shirt and some trainers. But maybe don't wear a tee that says something like: "F*&k consumerism" when you work in corporate retail.
Add a touch of '90s grunge
A shirt tied around one's waist is basically as '90s as it gets. So if you're not exactly into adding chokers or Doc Martens to your wardrobe for that edgy appeal, opt for a plaid or black shirt all tied up around your waist.
