The Chanel Spring/Summer 2017 collection showing at Paris Fashion Week gave us a young collection: cool kids in the city, living in an imagined space where eras merge and the classics of Chanel's yesteryear are celebrated.
It highlighted present trend realities like Snapchat-esque neon laser squiggles in its prints, while predicting futuristic trends like reimagined oversized baseball caps worn askew, millennial tweed suits, '80s clip-on earrings worn one at a time and bulky chain necklaces.

The Chanel customer has been reinvented, and she's bold, young and streetwise as hell.
Tweed caps featured heavily.
Micro and mini bags are pretty '90s.
Chanel also hopped on the single-earring train, showing pieces presumably plucked from a giant server.
Prints so bright and beautiful it makes the sun cower in it's mediocrity.
