Why on earth are people trading their stilettos for kitten heels? What could possibly be more appealing about a 1.5 inch shoe?

If you’re having these thoughts, you’re certainly not alone (whether you’re into 3 inch shoes or not).  According to multiple fashion houses around the globe, these are three main reason why shorter heels are better performers than their higher counterparts.

Comfort

The mere sight of a kitten heel reassures me that I can safely and happily make it through the day with minimal ‘damage’ to my feet and dignity.

The same is true for more women who have become less willing to sacrifice their comfort and practicality for ‘style’.

We’re secretly addicted to 'ugly chic'

'90s throwback
