Zeni: 3rd Degree almost had it in the bag, but some how missed it with its overly interrogative reporting that lacked depth, infused with no thorough knowledge of what really happens in the hair industry. In South Africa we are diverse, not just by colour, but by what we do, say and wear.
Kim: This programme gets it wrong all the time, just look how they TOTALLY Bungled the Marijuana Episode, with their own view points - personally when I saw the advert for this I just thought - shame 3rd degree gonna mess this one up.
Thandi: It was a good show.
Lerato: Why black hair?
Mogomotsi: I'm just irritated by people that think that just because one put on a weave it means they want to be white. A weave is actually very low maintenance. So if I put on a afro weave, which I've done before, does it mean I'm trying to be black??? Eish, let's not confuse issues.
Boitumelo: It took some balls to address it cause there were some bias views!! Just needed more opinions from Africans to tell their side of the story.
Cecilia: I think its a free country, and women should do any hair style.
Kyala: What is on my head are my hair. It doesn't matter if I bought it.
Babalwa: I personally think people with weaves or wigs are fake. Why not make your own hair beautiful if its all about beauty?
Bronwyn: I don't think anyone has the right to judge another woman on what makes her feel beautiful and more confident, and in any case very few woman wear the same style for ever. I know ladies that go from beautiful long weaves to very short natural looks to dreadlocks & back to long weaves. It's your head and your hair. You have every right to wear it as you choose!!!!
Keitumetse: Weave...even white people buy extra hair...don't hate if you prefer not to spend on your hair. Just remember our priorities are different.
