Get Lauren Conrad's hairstyle!

accreditation
Former The Hills starlet and now fashion designer Lauren Conrad has fabulous style – she always looks fierce and fashionable! LC is known for her gorgeous long blonde locks and has invented her own hairdo called the ‘Fun Bun’.

Now, stylistas are raving about her hairstyle, which is perfect for both casual and formal events.

Here's how to get Lauren’s effortlessly chic hair look!

Step 1:
First wash and condition your locks and blow dry. Best to do this the day before because super clean hair won’t hold as well.

Step 2:
If your hair is straight, use a curling iron to slightly curl your hair. This will make it easier to tuck pieces into the bun. When hair is super straight, it tends to pop out more.  If you have naturally wavy or curly hair you can skip this step.

Step 3:
Flip your hair over and gather everything into a ponytail on top of your head, securing it tightly with an elastic band.

Step 4:
The last time you're looping the elastic band, only pull the ponytail halfway through to create a loop.

Step 5:
Take the loop you’ve created and spread it out.  Just widen it and allow it to be somewhat messy.

Step 6:
Take the tail-end and wrap it around the ponytail base.

Step 7:
Pin the end of the ponytail to the base using a couple of bobby pins.

Step 8:
Gently pull on pieces and then pin them. This will give your top-knot a slightly more messy, natural look and texture!

Step 9:

To finish it off, spray some hairspray all over the do – but don’t go too overboard. The key to the Fun Bun is to keep it looking natural.
