With so many new inventions in the fashion and beauty industry it’s no wonder so many of us are baffled – well, at least I am.
First it was the fragrance that promised to get you a man, then it was the multi-purpose-raincoat and now this!
Unilever has come up with a scientifically tested anti-ageing pill…talk about progressive technology!
The pill is said to contain "blends of natural food extracts" and polyunsaturated fatty acids from fish oil, vitamin E, vitamin C, and lycopene — to trigger estrogen receptors that stimulate the production of collagen.
New Scientist reports that Unilever commissioned four separate studies on the pills that involved 480 post-menopausal women in Britain, France, and Germany. Research found that after women took the pills three times a day for 14 weeks, on average, their "crow's feet" became 10% shallower! Some women even experienced 30% shallower wrinkling.
It’s all good and fair, women are being given more options when it comes to taking care of themselves. But isn’t this a bit too much? Will this anti-wrinkle crème work, like really now?
I have my doubts but what do you think?
