Sales of dry shampoo have rocketed over the last year, fuelled by its popularity with pro stylists and celebs, reports Cover MG.
When I read that statement, I turned to my colleagues and asked if they know of people who actually use the stuff.
"Oh yes," said one. "My grandfather – while he was in hospital. They had to sponge bath him, so they used dry shampoo to clean his hair."
Not exactly a raving review, is it?
Incidentally, this was the general response when we were discussing straightening our hair at home. But unlike that product, dry shampoo is – reportedly – great for its volume-boosting and texturising properties.
It's also bound to cause less damage to your tresses, but personally, I just worry that my locks won't be as clean without the use of water.
