Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani's campaign against pro-anorexia websites is getting serious.
Sozzani – who is famous for saying Facebook causes anorexia – has thrown the fashion world a curve (I’m clever, hey?) by putting stunning fuller figure models Tara Lynn, Candice Huffine and Robyn Lawley on the cover of their latest issue.
We haven't seen such a gutsy move since US Magazine celebrated curves in this eye-catching shoot.
Rather than cover up the models or cut the photos off at the waist, the snap reveals the models' bodies in saucy lingerie… Heck, there's even a crotch shot for full fashion realism.
And Sozzani is throwing her full weight (see, I’ve done it again!) behind the campaign and promises to feature more plus-sized models in future publications.
"Why should these models slim down?" she told DailyMail. "Many of the women who have a few extra kilos are especially beautiful and also more feminine."
What do you think?
