Produced by an American company that makes rubber soles, FiveFinger shoes are gaining popularity amongst sports enthusiasts – in fact we saw Scarlett Johansson wearing a pair just last week. Our initial reaction: "What the fuck is she wearing on her feet?"
And it seems this is the most likely reaction. So much so, that reviewer Tom Markiewicz, wrote that the weird shape of the shoes is embarrassing. "I catch women and children staring at my feet constantly," he wrote.
The shoes are designed to strengthen your feet and enhance your performance when working out. Sure, they come in hundreds of designs and colours – but they are all equally ugly to be honest. They are like clogs for sports people!
